I have a purple two quart bottle of Meguiar's Deep Crystal Car Wash I purchased last year and a brand new one I purchased this year. Bar codes are exactly the same(7038264104), the front labels on both bottles are the same with the exception of the older bottle it says "Safe Biodegradable Formula" on the label.
The back labels are similar on both bottles with the exception of the newer one I purchased has a list of what appears to be nasty ingredients and the older bottle has no ingredients being listed at all. Only cautionary statement on the old bottle is "Possible eye irritant. In case of eye contact flush with water and call a physician. Keep out of reach of children". Ok that sounds fare, it is soap after all.
Now get this warning label on the new bottle I purchased this year, a bit freaky, "WARNING! Contains Oleic Acid Dethanolamine, Linoleic Acid Dethanolamide, anionic sufactant, sodium sulfonate, ALCOHOL ethoxylate, sodium chloride, non-ionic surfactant" Now for the most amusing part of the new bottles label PRECAUTIONS "Avoid eye contact and PROLONGED SKIN CONTACT. Do not swallow. WASH THOROUGHLY AFTER HANDLING. Close container after each use. Keep out of reach of children"
So what gives? Is there a biodegradable version of this soap and a non biodegradable version of this soap or where the formulas changed?
Whats with all the funky ingredients in the new bottle I have?
Seriously I am supposed to avoid prolonged skin contact with this new formulation??
Where these ingridants in the older bottle I have?
Was the lable just updated or was the formulation of your Deep Crystal Car Was changed?
How is car wash soap fun to use? lol You don't have to answer this one, I always thought that was a funny statement to put on a bottle of car washing soap.
