Through out the forums I have often read of "curing". I have used NXT Tech Wax with brilliant results. I have generally allowed the NXT to dry or cure for 30 minutes or so and yes I have used the "swipe" test with good effect.
I also read of two applications of NXT. In those forums, mention is made of 12 to 24 hours of curing. So that I am clear, does that mean apply the NXT and wipe off after it has dried with microfibre towels in say 30 minutes or so and then wait another 12 to 24 hours to apply a second coat of NXT? OR does it mean, apply the first coat of NXT and leave it to dry and cure for 12 to 24 hours, before polishing off and then applying the second coat and then again leaving it on for another 12 hours before polishing it off?
My car is metallic black, so I suppose the final question is: will two sequential coats of NXT, result in a superior finish or will a single coat every month or two be just as effective?
