  • Endurance tire gel application

I bought the endurance gel and applicator pad last week and am very happy with the product so far.

However, I'd like to know the dangers of the endurance gel. I know you're supposed to apply it to the sidewall of the tire and not cover the entire car. But what for example if you accidentally hit the rim during application? I have low profile tires which makes it difficult to apply the product to the lowest part of the tire without hitting the rim. Additionally the curb protection creates a small ridge around the rim, which I would like to cover in product as well.

So what should you do if you get the gel on the rim? Can you just proceed and ignore it, should you wipe it off immediately, can it damage the rim,...

Just try to wipe off the excess that gets onto the rim when it happens. Sometimes if tire products (including Endurance Tire Gel) get onto the rims, and/or painted and vinyl surfaces it can start to stain them if it

I don't think it would ever damage the rim. I've gotten all kinds of overspray from foam tire shines on my wheels/rims. I just wipe it all up as soon as I complete dressing the tire. Something such as a wet towel appears to work well. The only damage I have on my wheels is from salt

Sorry for the previous mispost, what I was trying to say was...Just try to wipe off the excess that gets onto the rim when it happens. Sometimes if tire products (including Endurance Tire Gel) gets onto the rims, and/or painted and vinyl surfaces it can start to stain them if it's on there too long. Also, it could be unsightly where some of the oils may leave a streaky sort appearance. So, I would suggest wiping the product off your rims so it doesn't creat extra work.
