  • Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere

I used this product the other day and it worked great. Now that the car is cleaned, is there any reason I can't apply a polish and wax?

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Since I don't have water, I wonder what can be used to clean those rims and tires? I would like to clean this car in the garage since the brakes have locked; the car sat in a dust cocoon for the last 15 years.

Is wash and wax safe for use before Clay and Machine polishing?

It would be a little bit of a waste, but I dont think the bit of wax in it would slow things down much.

You could try the rims with the same UWWA or Rinseles Wash.

Take the wheels off, give 'em a good cleaning, dry 'em then apply some Brake Dust Barrier per instructions on the can. Don't have to do it all at once. If you don't have access to a water supply outdoors, take one wheel at a time and use a garden sprayer or thoroughly wash it in the shower with some good wheel and tire cleaner or APC with degreaser. While you're taking a shower, if you want to conserve water. After the Brake Dust Barrier is applied, you can dust the wheels off every couple of months with some QD and a microfiber.

And while you have the wheels off, check why the brakes are locked. They're not going to get unlocked just by sitting there another 15 years.
