  • ULW Questions

I think I'm gonna try this out this weekend on my new white Jetta. I am planning on going with the liquid, applied via DA. Best to do the whole car, or a few panels at a time?

Hoping this holds up well. I've used a lot of #20, but I am looking for something different and dont necessarily need a cleaner type product this time around.

    Thanks!

    Re: ULW Questions

IMO, it's best to do the whole car and wait until the wax dries before removing it. This will allow the best bond to occur. However, the new technology found in Ultimate Wax allows for a wipe on wipe off type of application. You can apply the wax at each panel and remove right away. This is what you'd do if you experience the notorious streaking effect.

      Re: ULW Questions

When I have used ULW, I have applied to the whole car.

Then when done, I immediately start removing. I will used one slightly damp cloth, and one dry one to wipe over each surface, and it has worked well.

However, the panel at a time method has been used successfully also.

        Re: ULW Questions

With Ultimate Liquid Wax is really doesn't matter whether you do a panel at a time or the whole car at once. Ultimate Wax in liquid form is very unique in our line up and therefore our only wax where we make this either/or recommendation. Just make sure to apply it thin, but that's pretty easy to do with the technology in this wax.
