  • Leather Wipes

I have to say that I'm satisfied with every Meguiar's product I used and I love also the wipes, Interior Quick Detailer and Natural Shine does a great job for me.. I could not be more satisfied really.. but I'm not 100% happy about the Cleaner/conditioner leather wipes.
I used on my seats, the steering wheel and in the gear lever. Like it's written in the package "after using the wipe, you could pass a MF towel for less shine".. well I used this tip to clean all the residue on the wheel and on the gear lever (in the sits I just used the wipes and let it so).. the problem is that the wheel it feels slick to the touch, it doesn't grip well and even if I don't see any residue I can feel on my hands (I have to say that I let the car rest for a whole day after the application but after 2 days I still can feel it). Also the sits are a bit sliding.. but if course I didn't pass a MF towel there and I can accept this feeling on sits but not on my wheel..
For comparison, the Natural Shine Protectant it looks on the dash like the Leather Cleaner looks on the sits.. but this after some mins of application is totally dry to the touch.. how I can obtain this with the leather wipes?
I would not consider to buy another formulation of the Cleaner, since I have the wipes I want finish them.. and as told before I like them because are practical and easy to use.. but at the same time I want protect and "feed" my leather steering wheel and gear lever also.. any help?

    Re: Leather Wipes

I think the plastic dressings have some ingrediants the leather products dont to help with drying to the touch.

Perhaps some QID on the wheel will get the slick feeling to go away for you.

Murr's suggestion to use some of the Quik Interior Detailer to remove the leather product from the steering wheel is a good one, and it should do the trick for you quite easily.
