2012 Focus Yellow Blaze

I just picked up a new Focus in yellow blaze metallic tri-coat. Anyone have any experience with products that will bring out the pop in that color?

What is the condition of the paint? Swirls? Even though it just came from the dealer, it could have swirls.

As far as the tri-coat goes, treat it like regular paint.

Quick Detail:
1) Wash
2) Clay
3) Colorx or A12 cleaner/wax (applied with soft foam applicators)
4) NXT 2.0 or Ultimate Wax

Swirl Removal:
1) Wash
2) Clay
3) Ultimate Compound (soft foam applicators or DA)
4) Ultimate Polish (soft foam applicators or DA)
5) NXT 2.0 or Ultimate Wax

Quickest Detail:
1) Wash
2) Clay
3) NXT 2.0 or Ultimate Wax

Any Meguiars wax will bring out the color of that color. However, I have found Ultimate Wax to look especially good on dark colors. Gold Class Carnauba Plus is very nice on dark metallics as well but does not have the longevity of Ultimate Wax or NXT 2.0.

Does have minor swirls, so I'll probably go with plan 2, once the weather in CT warms up a bit (only a couple of days!)

I'm diggin' the new Focus! It's on a short list of acceptables from my wife, after all it'll be her daily driver. How about a pic of that new ride DAC?
