    New Brake Dust Barrier vs Road Salt

    Hi,
    Here is the north east, they love to use road salt so I am constantly cleaning my wheels during winter. Will the new Brake Dust Barrier help wash off the road salt easier? Also, will it offer some protection from the damaging effect of road salt?

    As a semi permanent coating, Hot Rims Brake Dust Barrier should do quite well against road salt and the associated general road grime that comes with it. Now, that is not license to just forget about your wheels all winter, and with salt being as nasty as it is you may find that Brake Dust Barrier won't last as long as it would otherwise, but it should make a noticeable improvement in cleaning ease.

      Super! Thanks Mike. I will definitely give it a try. But as you so correctly said, washing my wheels frequently in the winter will still be SOP.
