  • Question on Ultimate Polish

VW clear is rock hard. Going to go for swirl removal in the spring with UC. My plan was to follow up with 205. Can I use UP to "jewel" the paint on a light polishing/finish pad? I've been detailing for a long time, and while this is a newbie question, I am just a bit uneducated on UP and it's use.

    Thanks

    Re: Question on Ultimate Polish

Your question is a bit confusing.

You could use either M205 or UP to jewel the paint after your swirl removal step.

The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

205 and UP are essentially the same product just in a different bottle.

^^ Well, pretty much. UP has more polishing oils and M205 has slightly more cut.
