  • Ultimate Wipe as drying cloth?

Hey guys, I was just thinking of getting some Ultimate Wipes to use as my drying cloths. Would this be fine as I was just wondering the UW might be more suited as buffing cloths.

I'm asking this as the only Meguiar's cloth that I can find over here is Ultimate Wipe, none of the rest like the water magnet, etc.

i consider the ultimate wipe more of a buffing/final wipe cloth. it's
small (16x16) and it's not as plush as compared to the new supreme microfibers (wouldn't use those as drying towels either), thus it will soak up water fast.

      Hi:

If you are going to purchase some thing I would try to find a towel designed for drying. A good waffle weave is probably the best choice. The Ultimate Wipe is better at wax removal and buffing.

Sherwin - I have been using the Utimate Wipe a s drying cloth for 6 months now and it's been excellent. I did however recently buy the waffle weave drying towel and was amazed at the difference. I can now dry the car in about half the time. I liked the Ultimate Wipe because it was smaller and could get into all the gaps etc.

        Hope this helps.
