  • What should I buy?

Since my Swirl X bottle is near empty, so I was looking for a paint cleaner.
I found difficulties with the Swirl X, it's so thick if I use by hand..

    Which is best?
    - Polishing Compound (should I use it together with Rubbing?)
    - Cleaner Wax (consumer)

Do you need a product for removing defects, or just a mild cleaner?

Just to remove light swirls, light waterspots.. So maybe I need a mild cleaner..
Do you have any recommendation for me?

I still suggest swirlx, you may also have difficulty with rubbing and polishing compound. And regarding its effectiveness at paint cleaning, you may have similar experience with the Rubbing compound swirlx is a newer technology vs. the rubbing and polishing compound. Colorx may work for you, its a more aggressive option than cleaner wax, it may be more than sufficient enough for you. It is also a cleaner wax, so you can follow it up with your favorite megs wax like nxt ult. wax or gold class.

Hmm.. Swirl X it's a great product, I do agree with you.. Does the polishing compound as thick as swirl x?
Based on your suggestion, ffboy, I think I would buy ColorX. Perhaps it has greater cleaning ability and better result compared to cleaner wax... (Am I right?)

Yes, the ColorX will be stronger than the Cleaner/Wax, but not as much as SwirlX.

You could also consider using Ult. Compound to remove spots/swirls, and then Ult. Polish when not much cleaning is needed.
