Do I wash the car after swirl remover and before polish and wax?

I've just done:

1. Wash
2. Smooth Surface Clay
3. Swirl Remover 2.0

I'm planning to do an additional polish and then top it off with Ultimate Liquid Wax.

Should I wash my car after the 3rd step, before polishing?

I see tiny bits of residue left from the Swirl Remover and I just want to make sure that it's all completely gone, thus the reason for wanting to wash it.

The car wash I use is a cheapo ArmorAll "Wash n Wax".

Will that have any effect on the bonding of Ultimate Liquid Wax seeing as the car wash shampoo has traces of Wax already in it?

Personally after doing that, I would just keep on going with the polish and wax. If you are going to wash, maybe invest in a more reputable car wash soap like something from meguiars, and make sure you use a good microfiber wash mitt. You don't wanna mess up what you just did. Bottom line, just go ahead and polish!

A good idea is to go ahead and wipe the car down with a quick detailer, instead of washing.

"I" normally go straight to LSP after #9. "I" only (sometimes) wash the car after #83 or (UC) because of the dust, then #9 or UP and finally LSP.

I ended up quick detailing it and then LSP. Turned out quite nicely.

M34 Final Inspection is neutral and it won't add anything unwanted before you apply your protecting product.

M34 Final Inspection is body shop safe quick detailer. Great for cleaning paint before application of polishes/ waxes. It can also be used as a clay lubricant.

I used the quick detailer that came in my smooth surface clay pack - it should be fine though, right?

Yes, Quik Detailer is fine.

M34 Final Inspection can be used on fresh paint as well.

You can also do an isopropyl alcohol wipedown. Dilute it about 10:1 with water and wipe down with a microfiber -- this will ensure that the surface is very clean and ready for wax.
