  • Have you ever seen yourself reflected in a tire?

    ... I have.

That's the tire of a Ford Fiesta after being treated with NXT Insane Shine aerosol. There you can see my hands, the flash of the camera and my legs as I squatted in order to take the picture.

This is how the tire used to look. Dull, old, boring... so I spiced it up with Insane Shine.

It's a great product if you like shiny tires, as I do. It works immediately and takes just a few seconds to apply, although you'll have to clean the areas of the paint as well as the wheels with an MF afterwards since Insane Shine is intended only for tires. Only drawbacks are that it doesn't last much and that it stains the floor, so be careful when choosing where to use it.

Do you leave your tire like that or wipe it off afterwards? Does the product sling?

You should try hyper dressing too. I love using that on my tires.

Marc, it doesn't sling and it stays on the tire. You don't need to wipe it off, it's a "fire and forget" product, so to say. Another tip for those who use Insane Shine is to stay away from the spray particles when using it. It's not nice to inhale it, believe me.

I know Hyper Dressing, of course, and I like it but it doesn't leave the tires super-shiny, which was my goal in this particular case.

No slinging? The nxt tire shine must have something in it that allows for that shine without slinging.. i personally prefer the lower gloss dressings (i personally use reflections tire care) It can be made to look a bit shiny by not doing a final wipe or buff. I've seen on some demos that hotshine does give a slightly less glossy finish.. I've seen the grape flavored Gold class endurance gel, seems to give a nice balance between matte and glossy look
