Re: Ultimate Quik Wax
There is some carnauba in it, but it's mostly synthetic. Great to use when drying the car, or for quick touchups between waxings. It won't stain plastic trim (it often makes it look better, in fact) and it can be used in direct sunlight even on a warm surface.Michael Stoops

Re: Ultimate Quik Wax
a better value would be to get a gallon of the Meguiar’s Synthetic X-Pres Spray Wax. I have used UQW and had extremely great results....and soooo easy to use too!
Great on side/ back windows....though I never use on my windshield..."STRIFE" aka Phil

Re: Ultimate Quik Wax
How's the durability with Ultimate Quik Wax? I just applied an AIO with dedicated fillers for swirls and it's durabilty was tested up to 2 months. Would applying UQW right onto this fresh layer (after 12 hours) of AIO extend the life of the bottom layer by applying a definite layer over it or is it just a top-up that would just fill in the pores of a degraded protection layer?

Re: Ultimate Quik Wax
Hmm, I guess I'll need to top this AIO with a pure wax for the next wash and use QDW to preserve this layer for longer. But I know some spray waxes those can last 3-4 month on their own. So UQW doesn't claim such a long durability then?

Re: Ultimate Quik Wax
I dunno about putting UQW on and leaving it. But with some good wax as a base, and then UQW each wash (say every few weeks for me), the combo seems to last quite a while for me.
I think I detailed early June the last time, and been too busy to do more than wash since. Maybe the last few weeks the car has really needed re-detailed.
If you try to apply the UQW (or Detailer Line version) like you would a liquid/paste wax, I think you will have a streaked up mess. It only goes on well extremely thin, which would seem to indicate a little about the amount of protection.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

For application, I spray on and spread with an MF, it usually flashes pretty quickly. I do the whole car this way, then start at the beginning again with a fresh, dry MF to remove excess. Looks great and I only get streaking if I miss a spot on the second wipe-off.
