This new wax product is quite difficult to remove without dealing with dark blotches and streaks. I have used it now on 4 cars and still having issues. I tried putting it on very thin, dry applicator and them a moist applicator with no success. I was wondering if the paste formula is any better? I do like that it beads water like crazy and last at least 4 months before it starts to show wear. Please help if anyone has any new secrets in using the product, otherwise I will go back to the NXT products.:

Did you let it 'haze' before you wiped it off? Just asking.
I've found (as others) doing a section at a time, let it dwell for a short period (like just few minuets or so). Then wipe off. The stuff takes (for me) overnight to fully 'cure'. I then do a 'final wipe' (next day) with a touch of UQD. Oh, I'm also using a DA for application, so it goes down crazy thin.
One thing...I sure would not like to be using UW liquid or paste for 'production' work...it is not a fast product.

Perhaps it's because I've only used one bottle of NXT it's hard for me to draw a comparison with Ultimate Liquid Wax. Like Bill, I work thin. I use a Porter Cable set at speed three and a soft, 4" black Lake Country pad and a fast arm speed. I only use a foam applicator to lay down the ULW by hand around mirrors, logos or lettering and the front and rear bumpers.
I had streaking on my own car when working off a step ladder to do the roof. I was only going to do one coat and wanted to insure coverage, so I worked the ULW like it was a polish. Extra overlapping passes with the PC. When I went to wipe it off, it streaked. However, I just wiped a few additional times and the streaks disappeared.
Of the few cars I do, most of the cars I do are black. I did a metallic silver Buick Lacerne last week. The ULW seemed to disappear while being laid down making it difficult to insure 100% coverage, but no discernible streaking.
For me at least, if you think you are putting it on too thin, it's probably just right.

A thin coat of NXT isn't "UW thin". I think in the "art of detailing", UW requires the most artistry. I had to cut off an ear to finally start getting "thin" and I still mess it up. I read that the added "paste" ingredients result in the application of thin UW after they flash off.Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts.

- With the 4 inch pad on your DA, gently put the pad in the tin and do a few light dabs up an down. Do not turn the DA on and do not move the pad side to side or swipe it. All that is needed is a few dabs up and down. This should get a very small amount of product on the pad.
- Put the pad on the car and start spreading the product. This should be enough product for 1 panel, maybe 2.
- Go back to step 2, dabbing the pad about every panel or when you believe the pad needs more product.
Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts.

I agree. I have a couple times gotten it to work "Ok," but it was a lot of work.
Honestly, I should have never bought it in paste and liquid.
Why not just use NXT or Gold Class which are a dream to use, and use them more regularly? I'd rather have to wax 4x more often and have a fun application and removal process.
I think my UW won't be touched much in the future. The paste I might have never opened, I should sell it on Amazon.

Certainly have to find products that fit your technique.
