Cleaner Wax

Hi

I would like to know if Cleaner wax (Maroon Bottle) contains any abrasives or is it just a wax?

Can it be used safely with a DA polisher?

I can't address the abrasive issue (I just don't know), but yes to using a DA.

I've found using a white LC pad at speed 4-5 works pretty well.

Pretty sure its non-abrasive jsut offers mild chemical clean/polish ability. I have never noticed it to have an effect on swirls or scratches but it seems no matter how well I prep my paint before, if I use thsi stuff my wax pad shows some darkening (which I can only assume is some type of material removal).

A12 Cleaner Wax is just that, a cleaner wax, meaning it has the ability to remove some very mild defects but mostly it's great at pulling up embedded dirt, thereby preventing the build up of same. It does this primarily as a chemical cleaner, although it does have some very light abrasive components to it (and we stress that "very light" part!). It's not only safe to use with a DA buffer, you'll probably get the most out of it using it with one.

Here is one detail where I used it: Toyota Corolla

You can see from the pad how much dirt it pulled up.

Here is another example of it being used by hand: Black Honda Civic

You can still see the dirt it pulls up.
