I have used Ultimate Liquid Wax now on several occasions. I have noticed a few threads on this same topic. I will start off by saying I exclusively use Meguiar's products and will recommend them to any one. But unfortunately I am not officially sold on this product. It has been mentioned in other threads about how difficult it is to take off. This has never been an issue with me with any other was sold by Meguiar's. Even if I haven't clayed the paint previous to waxing the wax would come on and off way easier. To me it is like taking dried polish off, and it is just way too much work, and I almost want to say not even worth the extra money, and time. Having said that, I will say it does apply very easily, and smells like orange dreamsicle. But I also would like to add that the wax does last a long time, and is very durable. In the end I am still not sure what I think of the product. Any input, comment and responses are more than welcome.

Re: ***Ultimate Liquid Wax Review***
I had the streaking people are talking about on dark colors on my 2012 Kia Sorento's first wax job Saturday. I applied it with a G110 and wiped it off and pulled the Kia out of the garage and saw streaking in several areas after I buffed it off. I reapplied to the sides and the 2nd coat alleviated it. On the hood, which was the worst area, a 2nd coat didn't stop the steaking. I sprayed ultimate Quik Wx on it and buffed and the streaking was finally gone. I have also used it on my Mustang with no hassle at all. Makes me wonder if it's the difference in the paint or envionment, or is the wax? Hard to say.2011 Ford Mustang GT Cali Special

Joel, thanks for the feedback and review, even if it wasn't the most favorable - we appreciate the honesty.
UW in liquid form is a very unique product in our lineup and we're finding that a slightly different approach to using it generally solves a few potential issues. Instead of applying to the entire car and then letting it dry, try applying to just a couple of panels and then wiping off right away. Work around the vehicle like this, just a couple panels at a time, wiping off as you go. That should make wipe off easier and eliminate any streaking. If, after doing it this way, you still see some minor streaking or dark patches, try following with a very light spritz of water and a microfiber towel - much the same way you'd apply a quick detail spray.
If that still isn't doing it for you, try the paste version of UW but apply to all painted surfaces of the vehicle and let dry fully.Michael Stoops

Thank you very much for your reply Michael. I will try that next time it comes to waxing a vehicle. I still have not ruled it out completely. I have a lot of respect for the Meguiar's company and it's products.Joel
