    Just a couple of questions:
What prep work did you do before waxing?
Have you seen the look you are after on another car? If yes, perhaps you could ask them what they did or used.

On pearl white paint like your car has, the depth of color will never rival what you can do with black, red and other dark colors. Lighter colors like yours, or silvers, golds, etc just can't show quite that same level of depth.

But as David points out, prep is key. While the best results are generally achieved by machine application, using something like M205 Ultra Finishing Polish can do wonders for enhancing the clarity of any paint, as well as really make the metallic or pearl finish really pop. While you can do this by hand, a DA makes the job easier and the maximum results more readily attainable. It really is surprising how good you can make a light metallic color look, but was alone isn't quite going to do it for you.

Batmobile, the application of Ultimate Wax liquid is unique in our line up. We're finding that if you have a streaking issue it's best to apply the product to just a single panel and then wipe off after no more than 3 to 5 minutes dry time. If you still have any mild streaking left, a quick once over with a quick detailer or even a light mist of plain water, and then wipe with a microfiber towel will take care of it.

dhl1010, we don't buy into the concept of layering in the sense of creating an ever increasing film build through multiple applications of a wax or sealant. Our recommendation is to apply two thin coats just to ensure uniform coverage and appearance. Beyond that, we don't believe you'll gain anything in appearance or protection.
Thanks Murr and Michael for the responses... I tried UW Liquid 2 times:

        1. Silver Metalic car, with no garage, it was a hot day without direct sunlight.. so it was under the shade.. hand application, thin product, 15 min to wipe off, because the product dries quickly. very thin streaking on the hood only..

        2. Black car, inside garage, very cool and wasn't hot... hand application, 30 min then wipe off and this one had streaking the whole car.., the product seemed abit not dried, it happens to NXT 2.0 in the same place, same car.. streaking... I sprayed Last Touch to the whole panels and reduce a lot of smearing..

I will try to wipe of for each panel.. and this time I'll be using DA with Finishing Foam..

Once I tried GCCP Paste, and I made smearing too to the whole car, then I used DA with Finishing Foam, and it cme up with so little smearing..

Hope I can try this afternoon before the sun goes down.. I'll get back to you with the result.

        -Thanks-

one more question... for daily maintenance, should I use the Mirror Glaze Synthetic Spray Detailer or Ultimate Quik Wax or combined both?

The spray detailers (QD, Nxt SD, LT, FI, #135) have the lubrication in them to remove the light dust safely.

The spray waxes need applied to a clean surface.

So for a daily light dusting, you would want a detailer (or California duster, or both). You could spray wax after, but doing both every day would be a bit much.

I got hold of a bottle of Ultimate QW, the experience is surprising.
I clean my car with water, then wipe with detailer and finish up with the UQW. It's seem like the UQW just disappear into the paint work with every mist. Can't believe it's so easy to wipe off..

Re: UW cure time & layering?

Hello again, this time I waxed a white Suzuki Grand Vitara and Gray Honda Jazz using the liquid ultimate Wax, and this time I used a DA speed 3 with Meguiar's Finishing foam... I put 4 dots on the pad, and spread it for about each 2 panels.. I did overlapping passes to make sure the coverage and make it very thin layer.. It turned out so well, easy to wipe off.. and only made a very little streaking, on the vitara hood, but the jazz showed up minor streaking on a part of the hood too.. Well Thanks guys.. so the DA Application is the solution for me..
