Ultimate Wax over Cleaner Wax?

I have a brand new 2011 Subaru WRX (just built in mid March). I plan to wash and clay bar it this weekend, and then wash again and seal it with a coat of the new Ultimate Wax. However the claybar kit comes with Cleaner Wax.

Is it OK to put Ultimate Wax over the Cleaner Wax, or should I use a different cleaner/polish that doesn't have wax in it, or should I skip the cleaner/polish step altogether since the paint is so new?

Yes, some kind of cleaner after claying is good, and a cleaner/wax is a nice quick way of doing it. Then Ult. Wax after.

No need to wash after claying.

I guess I'm a little confused from searching around here today, where I read that the sealant wax should get a good 'bite' on the paint to improve its durability. I guess I'm afraid the wax in the Cleaner Wax may inhibit that. (a 'little' knowledge is dangerous they say, so maybe I'm showing my ignorance)

Some companies say to apply their product on a bare surface.

Meguiars does not say that for their products, and recomends having the paint clean, having polising oils on the paint, and two coats of wax/sealant.

OK cool. So I guess compatibility is not an issue then.

OK, one more dumb question then I'll stop.

When two coats of wax/sealant are recommended, does the Cleaner Wax count as one coat, or should I still be applying two coats of Ultimate Wax over that.

Yeah, that is why the cleaner/wax (Cleaner/Wax, ColorX, etc) is nice for speeding things up.

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Cleaner/Wax
4. Wax

or:

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Cleaner/Polish
4. Pure polish if wanted (optional)
5. Wax
6. Wax
