I was reminded today how very useful ColorX can be. My black S2K ain't exactly a daily driver but it ain't a garage queen either. I drive it year around, rain or shine. I have given up trying to keep the paint swirl-free. Honda paint swirls just by looking at it. My biggest battle is water spots. If I don't wash my car within 24 hours after a rain shower--and I'm often not able to--the rain sitting on the surface will etch the paint. I haven't had good luck using a vinegar solution to remove the spots. But I have found that ColorX does a good job. I use a foam applicator and work it into the paint, and the water spots disappear.
ColorX is exceptionally user-friendly. I have not experienced any problems either applying or removing the product. I give it 15-30 minutes to haze, and it buffs right off. I cannot comment on the gloss, as I always end up topping the ColorX with a carnauba wax (right now I'm using Victoria Concours Red, which I like a great deal). ColorX is an excellent product. I'm sorry to see that it has become increasingly hard to find locally.
Cheers,
Al
