  • Ultimate compound for a white (pearl) car?

After using mother's products for years, I decided to try out the new ultimate line.

After reading the ultimate compound bottle, I wonder if I will see any benefit from using this product on a 3 part frost white paint on a 2007 Nissan? The directions on the bottle seem to indicate it is a product primarily for darker finishes. I don't mind the extra step but don't want to waste time if it isn't necessary. For sure I will use the clay bar, ultimate polish and ultimate paste wax. Should I put in the extra effort to apply ultimate compound on a white car?

    Thanks,
    Rick

I say it is worth the effort if there are swirls in the paint that the other products won't remove.
