Which Wax Would Ultimate Wax Replace?

i have a little nxt 2.0 liquid wax left. but i also have a brand new m26. i was thinking the new ultimate wax is probably the replacement for nxt, no? and would it be overkill to use both? if not, which one should go on first?

Yeah, Ult. Wax will be more like Nxt 2.0.

2 Coats of wax is recommended, so you could to one of Ult Wax, one of #26... But seems a bit of a shame to cover up the hydrophobic polymers, etc.

Along the same lines, I know NXT2.0 is supposed to work great after using a cleaner/wax since its limited cleaning ability will help remove the carnuba left and provide a fully synthetic coat... How would Ultimate perform in this situation?

I wouldn't say that UW would replace NXT 2.0. They are completely different products and UW was engineered from the ground up. They produce different shine/gloss properties and I'm sure the protection of UW will last longer.

UW is different from nxt 2.0, so it won;t be replaced by the ultimate wax. In fact, some people I've read actually like the NXT 2.0's gloss better than Ult. wax. Also, if you plan to add m26 on top of the ultimate wax, i suggest that you look and see if you like the ultimate wax (or NXT 2.0) shine itself. If not, maybe on your car's hood, apply on half of the hood your m26+UWax combo and the other just the ultimate wax and see if the difference in depth is worth it.

Ultimate Wax is 100% synthetic, it's a paint sealant.
M26 High Tech Yellow Wax is mostly based on natural ingredients (carnauba).

What NxT Tech Wax 2.0 does to your paint Ultimate Wax will do with extended protection and gloss.

M26 will add natural and warm high gloss look to your paint surface.

It's quite popular to layer synthetic wax/ sealant and natural/ carnauba wax. Ultimate Wax should be your foundation in that case.

UW doesn't replace anything. It's a new line that complements NXT and Gold Class.
