  • Ultimate Quik Wax

I have a couple a thread in the forum regarding how to apply the ultimate quik wax.

One thread seems to be implying that you have to let the quik wax dry first since it says to apply the quik wax throughout the whole car first and go back to wipe it off while the other thread says to wipe on and wipe off.

    So which method is accurate?

    Both.

If applied very thin like it should be, and you wipe around a little, there really wont be anything left to dry and remove.

If you try to apply it thick, it will be a pain to remove.

So that said, I apply thin like mentioned so there isnt really any residue, but I still come back around with a final wipe.

So should I wipe it off after wiping it on or leave it sitting on the paint a little bit and then wipe it off?

You may have to try it to see what I mean, but if you use a MF towel, and get one part dampened, and keep using just that damp part around the car, with just a little mist on each panel, there really wont be anything left to wipe off.

But I wipe back around quickly with a dry towel, just in case I got a little heavy in a spot.
