Morning Forum,
I would like to share my experience using the products in the Meguiar's Paint Restoration Kit. This is from a post I made on the accord forums.
Enjoy!
So I decided for the first time to use both a Polish and a Clay Bar on my 2004 honda accord v6 coupe!
I went with Meguiar's Paint Restoration Kit.
Included Soap, Clay, Detailer, Microfibre Towels, Pads, & Polish Compound.
I also used a Wet Tire spray & I LOVE Armor All's new wheel protectant. It works VERY well I have found.
For the engine I used the CD2 detailer plus a degreaser. I'm always afraid of mucking up the engine with water so I went lightly on it.
It wasn't hard, nothing more then elbow grease. Car is smooth as glass now!!!! And you can see in the photo's very reflective. The only thing extra I used was extra MF towels.
The car does have 175,000 miles on it, so I think I would say it is in excellent shape for that. The front nose has plenty of road chip/marks due to the high miles all highway. I also debadged the car a month ago because the Accord emblem had fallen off.
Process:
Restored headlights with 3M Headlight Kit (about 2 weeks ago)
Washed Rims & Tires & added protectant yesterday.
Washed
Dry
Clay Bar with Detail Spray
Polish
Wax
Enjoy!
(Note: I love Meguiar's Soap, I used it all the time on both vehicles. Pic at bottom after washing wife's car earlier.)

Used same soap to wash wife's car earlier today as well
