I have used every wax out there always looking for the ultimate in reflectivity, durability and ease of use. I recently used Turtle Polish and was very disappointed with the results. Before that I used Mequiar's Gold Class Carnuba as well as NXT. Loved the results of both the latter however was not a big fan of the residue. Yikes!!!
Applied the new Ultimate Liquid Wax and I cannot believe the results. Holy cow there should be a warning on the bottle to make sure you wear sunglasses!!! I would like to thank all of the members who posted the instructions on how to apply. I applied a very light coat and I let dry for 40 mins while I did the vacuuming glass cleaning etc. The wax applied very easily and came off without a lot of elbow grease. The reflection qualities are amazing!! Even my wife could not believe how beautiful the truck looked when done. There was no streaking and I consider red to be a dark color.
I have a 2010 Santa Fe in Venetian Red. It is like looking in a mirror.!
Hats off to Mequiar's for thinking of all the guys and gals that take pride in their wheels. Your products are developed with us in mind and also by taking into consideration the end users comments. This in turn allows for a product that personifies what Meguiar's is all about.
The best feed back I have had is in the last week I have been approached five times to ask what kind of wax I use? Two of those inquiries came from members of the local custom car club here in town. Now that tells me that the end result is exactly what is desired. They indicated that they were using "Mother's" but are now changing after seeing the results on my SF.
Great product!! Thanks again to all the instructions posted by members. Your guidance made this much easier than diving in alone.
PS: My SF has beige leather interior and the seats were getting soiled so I bought the Gold Class Leather Clean & Conditioner. The seats came right back to factory fresh! Another great product!
Thanks again to Meguiar's for their great products and this forum for all your guidance.
