What's the deal with last year's all new NXT lineup??

OK I've read posts here and there that some Wal-marts are carrying the new brushes and what not. I also read Wal-marts are reducing and removing most of NXT lineup from last year.

What gives? My local wally world has the NXT wax, spray wax, soap, and protectant on the clearance shelf. The only problem is the red clearance tags are the normal everyday low prices. No discount in other words. I did notice some other brands are taking up major shelf space with their new products. I even looked at the planograms hanging on the shelves. No new brushes or last years new NXT. They do have the new NEW NXT Generation Insane Shine Tire Spray.

Did Meguiar's take NXT Tech Wax the Number One Selling Liquid Wax in America off the shelves due to cost of shelf space? Is Wal-Mart trying to muscle Meguiar's out of their store?

What's the inside story here?

Wally world did have the best price on the NXT line than any other local dept or parts store.

I've noticed the same thing! The only NXT product the Walmart in my area (the only Walmart in VT ) has is the new NXT paste wax, and that was on the top-most shelf (where they store the extra stuff). I'm really disappointed. Advance Auto had a NXT clearance sale not too long ago as well. Luckily, I've been stocking up on all my NXT goodies over the winter, so my supply is topped off for the time being.

I'm not sure what's happening at Wal Mart, but the NXT Generation line continues it's strong growth trend. Next time you're in Wal Mart, make your requests to the store manager.

The Wal-Marts in the Indianapolis area never did carry much of the NXT line. I didn't see any NXT products at Wal-Mart until this year, and all they had was the car wash, the liquid wax, the spray wax, and the protectant. The car was from a newer lot as it was blue in color.

I think Wal-Mart caters to the budget minded, and tends to emphasize the lowest priced products. That's why they don't promote, or even stock very much of, the NXT line.

The Meijer's across the street has all of the new NXT products, including the glass cleaner. I bought an extra bottle of the glass cleaner just to have on hand.

same with wally world here in Iowa didn't have NXT untill the last few months.

Walmart did that with Endurance here... I bought a couple bottles when they closed them out... worried that meguiars stopped making it. As we know its still around! Walmart is based on lowest price as Ramair said so quality higher priced products don't always hang around, that goes for ALL their products.

A little off topic... I use 0W20 Mobil 1 oil, there are 4 super walmarts in Des Moines Iowa there is only 1 that carries it on the shelf all the time the rest of the stores you ask for it and the person behind the counter tells you there is no such thing or they say they don't carrie it!?!? Just seems strange.

I like them but you just never know with walmart!

I saw the NXT Wash on the clearence shelf at Wal-Mart today. It was only marked down about $.50 though. I went in to buy stuff for an oil change but all they had were Fram filters. I'm not sure what's going on with them.

Walmart here hasn't had NXT long at all but they are discontinuing the NXT Wash but nothing else. Wash was only $3 cheap!

The wash originally was only $5 + change. It doesn't make sense to discontinue it. The Wal-Mart had the wash on clearence but added the NXT paste wax and Speed Detailer.

My Walmart has NXT Car Wash on sale for $5.00. Of course that was after I bought some for $5.97. Before I buy any more I think I'll wait to see how much lower it goes.

i asked (wal-mart employees) if red tagged items (in which most of the nxt items were, amongst other non meguiars items too) meant that they were blowing them out, and no longer carrying it, and the reply i got was... "yes".
