Hot Rims

My question is about Hot Rims. I have started using this since it is easier for me to get than S100 wheel cleaner. I know that the S100 is a water based cleaner containing no acids. It is an excellent wheel cleaner for containing no acid. Hot Rims is also excellent. It cleans better without a doubt, but with the aid of an acid. Is this correct? If it does contain acid does anyone know which one? I really like it, but I am afraid if I use it for a long time it will dull my clear coat.

I'm very sorry for the delayed response to your question..

To answer your question, no. Hot Rims/Cool Care All Wheel Cleaner will not dull your finish when used as directed... even over time.

Also, I should note that Hot Rims *is* a water-based wheel cleaner. At over 50%, water is the primary ingredient.

I know this if opptopicing a bit, but is the s100 wheel cleaner you are talking about related to the s100 wax? Basically are you comparing p21s wheel cleaner with Meguiars hr?
If so, I use both these wheel cleaners all the time. I have used the Meguirs wheel cleaner for 4 years every week sometimes more than that on a Tahoe and Rav 4. The wheels on both those cars a still in great shinny condition.
