To answer the original question, no, the wash isnt designed to remover wax. The clay and paint cleaner steps are what are meant to remove wax.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

I would just wash like normal and do a clay bar session on the car to remove the 'old' wax and get to get a clean slate to start with.Joel

well i loaded up about 8ounces water and 6ounces Gold Class in the gilmour foam master at full throttle and while it did make for a nice suds during the drying process my mf didnt float across like it usually did before and when i was completely done it did feel squeeky clean ... no my guess is that it removed some wax ... how much i dont really know but as this is my DD/Detail Rig it gets waxed every other week.
