  • NXT on the MGB

Just finished up getting my 1977 MGB ready for a show next week - and used NXT this time. Not much prep except a quick wash (in NXT wash) - but last fall I did a complete detailing and used Meguiar's paint cleaner, #20, and finished with #26. I don't use the car much except occasional afternoon rides and shows - otherwise it's garaged and covered.

All steps (prep last year and NXT now) were hand-applied.

      Re: NXT on the MGB

      Hi Vulturetec,

Nice looking car and nice results. I especially like the top reflection in this picture,

It almost looks like I'm not looking at a fender, but looking at a riding lawnmower in a garage, (if your disregard the wheel and tire). Especially with the way the brick wall comes down on the right hand side, and the driveway parallels with the driveway in the reflection.

      ko0L!

Thanks all! Except that moved over a little you might like this one a little better Mike... The first frame I posted overexposed the background a little. I did a series of brackets and this one shows the reflection more clearly.

I should mention the restoration, and paint is about 10 years old (clearcoat).

            Vulturetec,

Your results with NXT are absolutely amazing! Those pictures truely show how clear the reflective images can become after using this product. Thanks for sharing your good work!
