  • NuFinish to NXT

I always liked Meguiar's, but when the family came, I had less time for detailing my vehicles so I switched over to NuFinish. NuFinish is durable and looked great, but now with Meguiar's NXT line, I'm going to try it to see how it rate with NuFinish inregards to shine and durable.

So can anyone tell me how NXT rates in comparison to NuFinish?

    Thanks!

    Re: NuFinish to NXT

    NuFinish is a cleaner/polish/wax.

    Nxt 2.0 is a wax.

So if applied to a neglected finish, Nu-Finish would likely do a bit better because of the other properties.

Nxt will want a better prepared surface.

Something like ColorX will be closer to NuFinish. A very popular quick detail here is to:

    1. Wash
    2. Clay if needed
    3. ColorX
    4. Wax - Nxt, Gold Class, Ultimate Wax, etc.
