Just curious since no one's seemed to mention it. Is the NXT paste a hard cake wax like # 16/ # 26 or is it more of a presoftened paste?

The NXT Paste version is a hard cake wax. It resembles the appearance of #16, except it is white, it too smells great (NXT flavor) and glides on easily!!!
I am planning a write-up on it very soon! Assuming of course last night's snow did not freeze my water hose again!

Like Tim said, the NXT Tech Wax Paste is a hard paste wax, not presoftened wax like Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax in the paste version. To use this wax, briskly spin your wax pad in a circular motion in the can, on top of the wax. This will liquify the wax and then the wax will saturate into your pad. Correctly used, a hard wax is a liquid.
