I haven't used any UQD lately (been doing full washes followed with UQW), but previously I found a piece of foam in the intake tube that hindered flow.
I usually pick up a couple 5 gallon buckets at Home Depot or Lowes as I go. The buckets are cheap and I just leave them behind as they take up too much room to cart around.

The soap strips haven't been sold for a long time but I have a couple packages and they are terrific for travel. In essence they are dehydrated soap and when dropped in a bucket they generate lots of suds. Pretty decent lubricity too. I'm not sure why this product didn't catch on as there are no measuring and mixing issues.

I'm currently in a very dry and warm location and find that for the most part, UQD & OQW are all I need to keep my car spotless. UQD for removing dust and UQW for keeping up the protection and shine. Color me happy, it's 60-90° warmer here than what the upper midwest has had for the past week or two.

The tube in the sprayer contains UQD liquid. When I press the trigger it runs out of the bottom of the tube. When I put it back in the liquid and press the trigger it draws up the liquid but nothing comes out of the sprayer. Odd behavior. I wonder if there is not some pump seal that is sticking as the product dries. I'm confident Meg's will get this worked out though.

      Hey Jim,

You know, I do not know why the strips did not catch on either. I tested and posted a review before they were released to the public and quite liked their ease of use. Some people had issues with them not foaming up, but mine did/do without a problem... I still have a couple packages left; maybe I will have to try them again... I will see if I can find that review...

As for the UQD, I have not had any issues...yet. It must be a bad batch of bottles. I am certain Meg's is doing everything possible to correct the problem...

      Take care Jim!

I actually have a few packs of the strips but ever got around to using them.

          Hey Nick,

They are actually not that bad! The problem may have been water hardness. I remember talking to a good friend of mine (admin of F150 online) and he hated them. But after a few chats, we discovered that it may be a water hardness problem. In his case, even Shampoo Plus did not foam!
