I've been able to compare it to FX spray wax. On black/black metallics, the ultimate quik wax darkens the paint better than FX although i find that FX does add brightness to the paint. I do like FX better on silver(s) and warm/dark colors, but the UQWax is a bit easier to use (less streaking) and seems to just "flow" on the paint when sprayed and wiped. Water beading is actually close between the 2 products, but there is a distinct way in which water is shed when UQWax is used. The UQwax is the winner when used on black paint in the way it adds richness and the way it goes on the paint.. Its easier to spread, and there's less chance of smearing. However, on other paint colors, the results may be different. Thats why i really find it hard to stick to one particular brand of wax. But overall, ultimate quik wax is a fantastic product. Among spray waxes, FX and UQW are my top choices.
