  • GC topping over NXT?

I detailed my car last year and remember someone mention how if you apply a topping of GC over a thin layer or two of NXT, it really brings out the depth and shine. The results were outstanding, but is there anymore info on how GC over NXT?

I did a little searching through the forums and found a couple of mixed results. This Friday I plan on detailing my entire mustang again and would like to apply 2 thin coats of NXT and hopefully GC if it's not a problem? Any ideas, opinions, or suggestions? Well, off to bed for a final tomorrow.

    Thanks,
    J.R.

    Hi J.R.,

I haven't used GC over NXT, but NXT over GC looks fantastic.
Trust me...Your patience will be rewarded...

      Hey NotoriousGT350

There is a lot of debate over topping one product over another. I have topped #20 Polymer Sealant with #26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax for years and just loved the look!

Generally, I prefer the look of NXT by itself. But if you have tried it before, and you liked the look, then I would do it again!
