In Indonesia NXT 2.0 only lasted for 3 weeks, with the rain 5 times a week, a lot of dust and the temperature reached 30 degrees Celsius. So I do once a month car maintenance to look good.

Rain, dust, etc. does shorten the life of wax dramatically in my experience. If you think about it, rains in this point in the earth's life is a lot harsher than before thanks to air and industrial pollution. Making a car wax last requires care from the owners (instant detailing, quik wax, good carwash). I regularly use ultimate quik detailer to keep the car looking good, and i like it a lot. It also works as a "reminder" on whether i need a new coat of wax, just as is mentioned in the videos here.. If quik detailer is more dofficult to remove, a new coat of wax may be needed. Surpisingly, even if the NXT 2.0 coating feels as though its long dead, using the UQD is still easy to remove! Even when the NXT 2.0 goes into "water sheeting mode" and gives the impression of a no protection, UQD is still easy to remove.. Its kinda fun to watch, washing the car, you see the water build up and sheets and you see the water pushed from the surface.. The NXT is kinda surprising in my opinion.

I would recommend using the ultimate quik detailer and ultimate quik wax instead of a rewax with nxt. I use UQD on an almost daily basis, UQW once a week. Really great products, give it a shot.. it can get boring though, using them regularly will make your paint shiny and slick for a long time. Why boring? your paint willl be shiny, evem if you itch for another rewax, the shine you get with the ultimates will make it almost unnecessary

well it's a bit outdated now to say this but with Malaysia's climate, 80 - 100F daily and rains everyday, lots of dust, the sealant still doing a good job and last 2 months.
no detailing spray, only regular wash with GC shampoo weekly.

Since most of you must have paint jobs w/CC, I don't...I'm a SS job

I need good UV protection because I do park outside in LA. I know the paint doesn't have much UV proction even thought they claim it does.,.. It's Sherwin-Williams, so I need all UV protection I can get. I just bought some NTX 2.0 the other day. I wax this car monthly and use UD on it every few days....my paint feels like glass.

My question is will it stay this way, the paint, if my care of it doesn't change. I hate dirt on the car because the heat can bake it in.

BTW, Their entry level Caranuba ..Deep Crystal was taking a little paint off my car when I buff.. This is smooth.

Nothing will last long if the paint is not washed often.
