i have pretty bad water spots on all the windows of my truck. i tried vinegar and water and that didn't phase them. would it be safe to apply swirl-x on the windows to remove the water spots? or is there a better solution?

Re: Swirl-X Safe On Glass?
Try some UC or even some M04 Heavy Cut Cleaner with a terry cloth towel. M04 does especially well at removing water spots: How To Remove Water Spots off Glass using M04 with an RBTedrow's Detailing

Re: Swirl-X Safe On Glass?
i tried some swirl-x on one of my windows and it didn't work. i'm not sure how it should have been applied on glass, but i put a drop or two on a terry cloth applicator and buffed it in. then immediately removed it. it didn't phase them. any other suggestions? i hate to buy M04 since my windows will probably be the only thing that is used for. but if thats what i need to get them off, thats what i'll do. i only tried swirl-x because thats what i had on hand.2007 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab V6 SR5 - Black Sand Pearl

Re: Swirl-X Safe On Glass?
i think i already know the answer to this question, but should i put anything on my glass over my failed swirl-x attempt? the reason i ask is because early this morning when i went to my truck, there was morning dew/fog all over my truck. but i could see the outline of the circle i applied swirl-x on my side glass. i didn't put anything back on my glass after i wiped the swirl-x off.2007 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab V6 SR5 - Black Sand Pearl

Re: Swirl-X Safe On Glass?
ok. thats what i was thinking. but since it was going to be free, i thought i would ask.
do you think UC would be as effective as M04 for my needs? or would M04 be better? the only reason i ask is because i dont have a DA. so i figure that i will get more use out of UC down the road. M04 will probably sit on my shelf forever once my water spots are removed. (hopefully there wont be a next time) but i also dont want to buy UC if its not going to work.
