NXT Wash vs Ultimate Wash and Wax vs Gold Class

its time for some new car wash. i've never used any of these, but they've all caught my eye. so i was wondering which one is best? if the ultimate wash and wax does in fact contain a form of wax, would it be ideal to use when planning on cleaning/polishing/waxing etc? i have a black truck, so i'm looking for something that will clean well and come off easy, but give my truck a nice shine too. since my truck is black, i also have a problem with water spots. so something that doesn't leave water spots would be great. what are your opinions on each?

I would say Nxt is the strongest cleaning.

Gold Class is going to be more gentle, and leaves a nice look.

The Wash and Wax seems to clean well, and is great if you aren't going to do anything after. But with it costing more, I wouldnt use it if I had time to use a spray wax like UQW after, or was going to detail after.

I'd probably pick Gold Class and Wash n'Wax, and then use them when appropriate.

i read on here somewhere that nxt is better for hard water. is this true? i live in an old house with old piping. and have noticed that since washing my truck here, i have more water spots. so i'm afraid my water has more minerals in it. would nxt be better for this?

It can help a bit, yes. I have not had hard water to compare it with myself.

I live in a hard water area. I use to use Gold Class all the time. I have since switched to Shampoo Plus. Never had any issues with the Gold Class.

i decided on gold class. i picked up some yesterday. i can't wait to try it. until now, i've used the deep crystal wash. how does gold class compare to it?

i'm thinking about going back and picking up some wash and wax also. for those washes in between waxes and details.

Deep crystal its good, but for far gold class has been the flaghship of meguiars on the consumer line, is the best! your paint will become darker

I have become a new fan of NXT for the time being.
