I was wondering if anyone knew why there is all this stuff available in the UK and not in the US? I noticed on UK site they have winter hats, fleece, buckets with grit guards & tops, spoke brushes, wheel brushes, mops, storage bags and backpacks, key chains, cleaning swabs, lambs wool mitts, interior brushes and engine cleaners/dressing. Why don't we have access to these items in the US?

Re: Stuff available in the UK but not US?
Many of the items you listed are likely limited production items. Perhaps management felt they would sell better in the U.K. or they may be stock that hasn't yet sold.
I'm just hypothesizing.
In addition the U.K. may have different regulations for volatile organic compounds/chemical product compositions.

Re: Stuff available in the UK but not US?
Many of our overseas distributors seek out suppliers for things like you see on the UK site - fleece, watches, etc and use them as spifs and promotions as they try to make inroads into their local market. They also sell these items, obviously, via their website.
As distributors, and not direct Meguiar's employees, they have some different freedoms to run their business in ways that better fit with their cultural norms. Plus, they don't have to concentrate on new product research and development, new packaging, market positioning, etc. You would be amazed how much goes into all that domestically and yet is simply carried over for international markets. It really is a huge task!Michael Stoops

Re: Stuff available in the UK but not US?
Thanks Mike. I just wish (as Im sure others do too) that we could get that stuff over here. A few of them are willing to ship to the US but as you can imagine the shipping costs are pretty high. The biggest item I'm searching for are your company's bags to store my supplies in. Is there anywhere in the US I can get these? The fleece would be nice but it's not a priority and the other stuff I can just get from other brands (even though I'd prefer your stuff)
