Hello. I purchased a 2010 For Fusion black about a month ago and when I purchased the vehicle the salesman said it needed to be detailed interior and exterior and they would do it. Just noticed though that when the light hits the paint just right on a sunny day that the finish looks hazy. If you look up close the paint looks flawless and you don't notice the haze. Could this be buffer swirls?
I have called customer service and they told me to use the Ultimate Compound. So yesterday I hand washed the car with the Deep Crystal wash and used a microfiber mitt. I applied the Ultimate Compound to several panels and upon close inspection they looked fine but again when the sun hits it just right I can still see the hazy look on the finish. Am I using the right product? I put it on with a foam applicator using moderate pressure and wiped off with a microfiber towel using a separate one for the final wipe.
I am just kind of lost on how to fix this problem and to figure out what it is. I am just curious if I need to use a different product and how to go about it. Thanks for all the help....I'm gonna need it.
