  • Supreme Shine MF linting

Have anyone experienced linting from their Supreme Shine MFs? I been recently experiencing this.

I wash my microfibers in COLD water, with Free & Clear liquid detergent. Then, dry them in my dryer, using NO HEAT.

current I have 4 Supreme Shine towels. I hv been using them since end of 2009 already. I dont see significant amount of linting on the towels.

    After using them, I:
soak them in warm water overnight same temp i use for shower (bcos I found it easier to get the wax out in machine wash by doing this. plz correct me if this is wrong.)
-> then throw everything including Meguiar's foam pads, Meguiar's MF wash mitts into my washing machine
-> wash with powder form detergent
-> then put them on my table and let them dry.

I have no linting problems with any of my supreme shine MF's, I just use them and then throw them in the washing machine with other MF's. Maybe you got a bad batcho something

Got the same issue here but probably caused by mixing the SS with the low quality ones in the washer. The lady of the house says its a waste of energy and water to wash them in different batches. (that's why I do my laundry when she's not at home )

I use MF's from Wally World. I wash them in hot water, then throw em in the dryer on normal setting for about 15 or so minutes. They have never linted.

Yes, I do mix them with MF from Sam's Club, but I also have two Water Magnets in the cycle. I never had linting with my Water Magnets.
