When applying two coats of NXT how much time, if any, should you allow between application for the best appearance? Just allow first coat to dry and remove, then start second coat? Wait 1/2 hour, 1 hour, a day?

Hi RickRS,
I have a fairly detailed answer to you question on the forum somewhere, when I have time I'll do a search using the Search button and see if I can find it.
The answer is this, the optimum for maximum best results would be to wait approximately 12 hours before applying a second coat as this Window of Time insures all of the polymers have fully set-up before applying further coats.
In the real world, most people don't have this kind of time to wait and second and third coats can be applied with great results immediately after removing the first coat.
Two thin coats are always better than one.

I used the search words,
window time cure
and came up with approximately 6 threads you can read here,

Here's the discussion I answered a similar questions,

Hope this helps...

Thanks, Mike.
I used two thin coats, one right after the other, yesterday when using NXT for the first time. Sun was down, and it was 67 degrees and 94% humidity when I check the weather right after finishing applying second coat. Checking results in daylight this morning, it was impressive in spite of the less than optimal conditions.
Now that I know the best cure time between coats, I won't worry with the second coat till the following day.
