  • Just used the new Gold Class...

I used this on friday and I still like the results, my car is super slick!

I liked taking this wax off better than the NXT because it is easier! if you want to do a fast wax job, gold class is def. faster I think!Comes off very nicely!

I think my car looks fantastic! really really great, I just hope the GC lasts! I think, NXT looks better, as in darker, less swirl marks, but I am hoping the GC will last longer than the nxt...

It is a very noticeable improvement; I like this product a lot. I give it a . The only thing I DON'T like about it is adding another product to the group that I can't decide what to choose from.

Gold Class user for 7+ yrs

I love the three step Clay/Polish/Gold Class. So easy to use. Used this for over 7 yrs with great results. I just can't stop waxing my cars ! Goes on, comes off with ease. Just this year I started using Microfiber towels. They work great.

The new Gold Class must be very different if it's easier to buff than NXT...the old GC had that #7-ey feel to it...tough to buff sometimes.

I might give GC another chance. The previous version, to me, is worst Meguiar's product I have used.

I didn't like it either; the new one is way better.

Meguiar's is always improving their formula's as new technology becomes available. The new Gold Class is an updated and improved formula in all its dimensions.

I don't know if I got the "new" Gold Class but I used Gold Class for the first time on my red 1997 Mustang Convertible and it came out even more gorgeous than with NXT.

This is a single stage paint and the last time I waxed it I used #7 Show Car Glaze under NXT Tech Wax. I was ecstatic about how it looked then.

But with Gold Class on this particular car the look is deeper and more rich. (I did not use the #7 this time).

I noticed with NXT it had a look like a plastic film had been poured over the paint.

With Gold Class it has a more "pure" look.

I will have to see how the Gold Class lasts but I am very happy.

Does anyone know how I can tell if I got the "new" GC ?

                        Thanks, Bill

I have been using the Gold Class for 3 years now and find it an excellent product but it does attract dust after first being applied. More so then other products I have used in the past. Does the improved forumla version help with this?

Kind of funny that you mention this. The Mustang has been parked in the driveway next to our Jaguar. The Jaguar currently has NXT on it.

I got one of those California Car Dusters and went out this morning to dust off the cars (neither had been driven since washed 3 days ago).

The Jag was covered in thick dust and the Mustang had nearly none.

So, in my case, the Gold Class coated car attracted LESS dust than NXT.
