  • Highest sudsing Meguiar's car wash

What's Meguiar's HIGHEST sudsing car wash? I been using DC Car Wash, and the suds are great. I recently saw the Ultimate Car Wash & Wax, and the consistency is much THICKER than DC Car Wash. Does it mean that the amount of suds will be more?

DC is probably highest, since that is what average consumers want.

Super Soap is popular for foam guns, so it might do well sudsing in a bucket.

I put a some car wash on the bottom of the bucket, and used my fire house nozzle, and blast it! Wow! The suds it produced was amazing!

Just about any soap solution will do that.

The only problem with doing it this way is you end up with one gallon or so of water and the rest is suds...assuming you are using a 5 gallon bucket. A recipe for swirls because of the lack of water.
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

Why do you want a high sudsing car wash anyways? Suds dont help in cleaning cars.

Well, I been watching Adam's Polishes videos and he mentioned that the suds keep the dirt and grime from touching the paint, while removing it. Decreasing the chance of swirls and scratches.

So, just follow the recipe 1oz of car wash per 1 gallon of water?

That is correct. 1 ounce soap per gallon of water.

By the way, some WalMarts are putting the Gold Class Shampoo on clearance. I bought one 64oz for $1.76.

Suds only help to a degree, that they help wash down the extra dirt that the mitt could not hold onto in its passes over the paint. In the same way, the extra washing solution that drips from the mitt effectively does the same thing. Suds are not on the face of the mitt when washing, they are on the sides. You want to be looking for a high lubricity car wash instead. It is lubricity that allows you to safely remove the dirt and grime from the paint by coating it with a slick film that acts as a medium between the mitt - dirt - paint.

I guess there would be a lack of water if one did not lower the sponge/wash mitt into the water.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a car wash shampoo that is very sudsy. Suds are a combination of soap & water, which is what I want to clean with. Dirt is attracted to soap. Soap creates lubricity.
