Personally, for a product like this, I'd prefer the original 'mister'.

The spray setting on the new bottle is pretty good but I still like the old sprayer head better for some reason.

I wonder if it's more like the Smooth Surface clay. Could just try the 100 gram bar for $7.95. Worth a look I'd say.

I wont place an order just for that, only if I have to buy some D Line products I cannot get locally will I grab the clay special.

Sometimes I take a drive down to Walmart and grab a Smooth Surface Clay kit, I use the Supreme Shines, A12, and Quik Detailer bottles to store LT 1:1 in anyways.

I have a huge roll of dirty consumer line white clay I am saving, eventually I am gonna order the Blackfire Clay Bar Cleaner and Extender from PAC. I hear its supposed to really clean clay bars well. I tried soap and water and it did not clean it enough to where I feel comfortable using it on a car.

I spend a lot of money and use up a lot of products for just being a one man show, probably not as much as other detailers on here though.

I usually spend money on products I "need" and not so much "want". I do not buy any boutique line of products so that keeps the cost down.

I probably spend anywhere from $250-$500 a month on products, tools and supplies, it just all depends what I am detailing, how busy I am, stocking up on D.As etc. It varies.

I go through a lot of Deep Crystal Car Wash and NXT Generation Car Wash, a lot of All Season Dressing, M66 Quick Detailer, M20 Polymer Sealant, M40, Quik Interior Detailer, Hyperdressing, APC, and a lot of Aggressive and Mild detailing clay. I also use a lot of chrome polish in the summer on motorcycles, been using a lot of my Marine/RV line products as well.

Yeah, somewhere around there. One of my customers has me come out and do all six of his daily driven cars twice a month or so for almolst the last year, and every member of the family requests that no dressing be applied to the interior, so i just use QID and they like that.

Anyways, I would still get the new version. Use it to clean out your cupholders and center console more effectively. Seems to handle large amounts of dust a little better as well. Walmart has it for only $4, went there today and picked up two more bottles.

    Correction/Update:

The new sprayer head does in fact have two options, there is in fact a "spray" and "stream" option.

    Sorry about that guys.

RE: the sprayer on the new bottle - it has a "stream" and "spray" option on it, depending on which way you turn the nozzle tip. Are you still not liking the "spray" option, or did that little catch you off guard and you're not aware of it?
    Thanks Mike.

I'll have to have another look, I turned the nozzle tip a couple of different ways and it still sprayed out a stream of product.

My only complaint is the new bottles are too tall and don't fit into my cabinet shelf like the older style lol
