Is it OK to use the clay used for the paint, for the glass? Or should I use a new, clean clay?

I wonder about this for some time. I know that auto glass is not as sensitive as paint (especially the clear coat).

    Yes, it wiil be ok.

I just do the glass while doing the paint as well, not nessicerily using 'used clay'.

Wheels, mufflers, etc would get seperate, older clay.

Yes you could use the same piece of clay. You will be amazed at the difference after claying your glass.

I tried it once on my windshield, and what a difference it made. It was a lot easier to wipe and clean.

For the windows do you guys also use the same lubricant as you used for the rest of the car?

After claying, you will want to use a glass cleaner to remove residue.

Yes, I use the same lube for claying glass. Then clean the glass with your window cleaner of choice.
