nxt pad vs foam applicator pad

Hi,

I was wondering if there's a difference between these two applicator pads. I have both of them. The nxt applicator pad is the ones that come with the nxt wax 2.0. One side is purple and one side is green. The other is the yellow applicator pad Item # W0004. Personally I like use the purple/green one much more, but you can't buy those. Why?

The purple/green two tone pads came with the original version of NXT while the current NXT 2.0 comes with an all purple pad. Gold Class comes with a yellow pad, as does Cleaner Wax paste, and the yellow pads are the ones we sell in two packs and four packs. The foam itself is the same, only the color changes.

I swear the purple one is softer than the yellow one.

thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I do agree with Tuck91 that it does feel different.

Any chance that Meguiars will be selling those pad separately?

We have no plans on selling the purple pads individually, they were really just developed in that color to mimic the NXT 2.0 packaging. In fact, if you think back to the original NXT, the pads supplied with that were purple on one side and green on the other. Still the same foam construction though.
