I just recently waxed my car with TechWax 2.0 (after being clayed and SwirlX). I noticed a bit of streaking. So, I used Last Touch to get rid of the streaks. Is this OK? Will it remove the wax, and it's protection?

Re: Use quick detailer after...
it wont remove the wax..all the quik detailers are designed to not remove any wax what so ever..however, NXT 2.0 should not streak if taken off at the right time...did you use the swipe test to see if the wax was dry ? how long did you wait ? did you apply it nice and super thin ? i know your not supposed to let any liquids touch the paint after NXT 2.0 because its curing time is 12 hoursAddicted

Originally posted by speed3blackmica View Postno, you dont have to apply another coat because you used last touch..your still protected..but it is recommoneded you always apply 2 thin coats of NXT for best protection and more coverage incase you may have missed a spot or two

well the whole idea about applying two coats (with any wax) is for maximum coverage, incase you may have missed a few spots..plus two coats usually does look better and offers even more protectionAddicted
