  • New Use for NXT Metal Polish

My wife was complaining that her kitchen sink was linking dingy. Now if the missus is unhappy we are all unhappy. So I thought of my jar of Meguiar's NXT metal polish and thought why not?

To be honest, with other metal polishes I usually get some black tarnish residue when cleaning my car's chrome - brightwork but NXT didn't ususally get me much so I though why not try it out on the eight year old kitchen sink?

I thought about taking a side by side snapshot but before I knew it both sides were done with only four blue shop towels.

The sink radiates, the water beads up and the wife is happy. Now I can go back to playing with my big toys.

    Here is an after picture.

    az57chevy,

I inserted the full sized image for you instead of the thumbnail-sized one you had linked to. When you insert images into a post make sure to click on the thumbnail in your gallery to bring up the full-sized image. Then copy the image location of the full-sized image.

Nice job by the way! You have inspired me to try the same thing this weekend!

Thanks for the info. Anything besides pure text taxes my brain power especially at night without any caffeine!

It does a great job and makes the significant others so happy, but it might become part of a kitchen detail.

        Wow! That's simply amazing looking!

I think the word radiates really best describes your results!

        Thanks az57chevy

The kitchen sink was the first thing I shined up with my NXT metal polish too! I bought the metal polish at a Corvette meet in PA this summer, just when it was coming out to the market. Here's the left side of the sink, with no NXT polish:

Here's the right hand side after NXT polish:

Needless to say, all the faucets in my house are now nice and shiny (and smooth)

az57chevy... The sink looks good, sometime ago I tried the Gold Class All Metal Polish on the sink looked good but didn't seem to last. Might have to give some NXT polish a try on it.

On a side note... Works well on a stainless weber grill too, I have tried it!
