I was down the big K tonight, looking for Martha Stewart items on sale, and like always I meandered over to the automotive section to see what might be new or on sale. And there, side by side, are the OLD Gold Class package and the NEW Gold Class package, the one referenced by Bri previously.
But the thing that caught this Autopian's eye wasn't the new artwork; it was the phrase, "Now with enhanced durability!"
Woah ho!
First; it's obviously a new formula!
Second; "durability"? Durability of shine, protection, or both?
Third, is this a tacit admission that GC has been lacking in durability? Until now, the only admission that I've seen has been the lack of defense of GC's stamina, a lack of defense that to me has been deafening in its agreement.
Fourth; the claim has always been "Our best looking wax ever!" and now it's "Our most reflective wax ever!" I always thought that GC DARKENED PAINT the most, giving the truest coloration. Is the reflectivity part of the changed formula?
Verrrrrrrrry eenterestink.
LOTS AND LOTS of new stuff, and not all of it brand spankin' new.
