Think some of you may have already discussed this, but let me learn a little more. Used the NXT spray wax on my E46 yesterday and some experiences to share.
1) I did not perfectly dry my car as much as I should have and whilst applying the spray wax, had water mixing with the wax especially at the trims. This did not impair the entire process as when I removed the wax with a MF, the shine was equally great
2) Upon completing the removal of the wax, I found that I had some unevenness in the shine on the bonnet. Not sure if this was the cause of careless spreading of the spray wax, water mixing with the wax or the heat of the engine. Anyway, I took the applicator still damp with the spray wax and reapplied on the area. Then proceeded to wipe off the wax immediately. Shine became even with equally great shine. No 5min or whatever time needed for the wax to "set"
3) Tried spray waxing using an applicator vs my usual terry cloth after reading Mike's piece on how this could be done. Equally good results
Not sure if all the things I have done here worked because my E46 is silver metallic and is more forgiving to lesser attention. Will try this on my S60 which is Black Sapphire Pearl, to see if it is that easy as well
Cheers
